Longwood Gardens

Hello! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I had a very small Thanksgiving this year...which meant lots of extra stuffing! Yummy! So, I figured I'd put up a few pictures of an acrylic album I did over the summer. Right after I got engaged I went to a place in PA called Longwood Gardens to get pictures with a bunch of my friends. I hope you enjoy!

 This is the whole album. When it's together it forms a flower.

 This is the front cover. The bottom is a rub on. The edges are edged with a gold leafing pen.

 This is all of us. A very nice stranger took this picture for us. It's the only one of all of us together.

 This is me and my best friends. The little dots are made with a pen that forms dots that when dry are 3-D

Bit of a break from scrapbooking...

This week's post will be a break from scrapbooking. I've been so busy with work, school, and planning my wedding that I haven't had time to think about scrapbooking. I really miss it though. I love being creative and it's sad when I walk past my crafting area and realize I haven't created anything in months! I have loads of ideas and I can't wait for winter break to try some of them out.

On the bright side I have picked a venue for my wedding, the bridesmaid dresses, and my wedding dress!! Now I have to figure out what photographer I want to hire. And this is going to be the hardest thing I am probably going to do for the wedding. I know what kind of shots I want and know I have to figure out if the photographer I choose will be able to produce what I want. I keep asking everyone if they are sure I can't take the pictures myself...and yes, I'm just kidding, I know I can't!
